FBC's antitrust and competition practice has been recognized as one of Israel's leaders in this specialty. Our attorneys counsel clients in a diverse group of industries including the banking, insurance, air transportation, agriculture, retail marketing, telecommunications, entertainment, energy, automobile and pharmaceutical sectors.
A large proportion of our practice involves counseling on competition and regulatory aspects of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. We also have extensive experience in advising in relation to other antitrust inquiries, notably investigations by the Israeli Antitrust Authority concerning cartels, in-depth industry studies, and allegations of abusive behavior by companies classified as monopolies. Our attorneys counsel clients in civil cases (including both private litigation and class action litigation), administrative cases (before the Israeli Antitrust Tribunal) and criminal cases. We also provide ongoing advice on business strategy and antitrust compliance.
In its most recent survey on the world's leading competition law practices, Global Competition Review GCR 100 (2006) ranked FBC as the only Israeli law firm among the 100 law firms worldwide in the competition and antitrust area. FBC was also recognized by the Global Competition Review, In its 2005 review of the Israeli market, as one of the top three firms in Israel in the antitrust area. At the invitation of the Israel Antitrust Authority, one of our partners served as a Non-Governmental Advisor in the prestigious 2004 International Competition Network mergers workshop.
