An important aspect of our corporate practice is representation of parties involved in the restructuring of distressed companies.  Our practice focuses on the restructuring of debt and equity interests in troubled companies, including negotiation with a variety of interest groups.  Our experience in this area extends to complex reorganizations of multinational enterprises involving Israeli and non-Israeli parties and legal systems, and our attorneys have appeared in courts inside and outside Israel in this regard.  In one of our notable representations in this regard we advised Barak - the International Telecommunications Company Ltd., one of Israel's international telephone service providers, in the restructuring of over $100 million of its long-term notes held by investors in Israel and abroad.
