As in many other jurisdictions, companies wishing to do business in Israel have to contend with a complex network of regulations and agencies at a variety of governmental levels. FBC specializes in helping clients navigate through the regulatory labyrinth in a wide variety of fields of business, including the environmental, telecommunications, construction and desalination areas, trade regulation, including anti-dumping matters, government tenders, and in the full range of regulatory areas that are arise in the context of our other practice areas.
In addition to numerous private clients whom we have advised on regulatory issues, the State of Israel has chosen us to represent it on a range of major public projects and privatization matters, including the separation of the Israeli Railways from the Israeli Ports Authority and the sale of the State's shares in two of Israel's leading banks. Our partners include the former Senior Assistant to the Attorney General of the State of Israel, who had responsibility in that position for all civil matters and with particular focus on privatization and regulatory matters. Our attorneys' experience in the regulatory field from both the public and private perspective enables us to develop effective solutions to our clients' complex regulatory needs.
