Avraham (Avi) Fischer is the co-managing partner of FBC. Mr. Fischer joined the firm in the early 1980s, and  has played a leading role in its development and growth. Mr. Fischer led the Firm in identifying the hi-tech sector as the key to the Firm's expansion and success.

Mr. Fischer's practice encompasses corporate law, finance, mergers & acquisitions as well as litigation. Mr. Fischer has acted in numerous cross-border transactions involving Israeli, European, American and Japanese companies. Mr. Fischer also has substantial experience in complex litigation matters, including high profile corporate disputes and land reform matters.    
Alongside his legal career, Mr. Fischer serves as the Deputy Chairman of IDB Holdings, Israel's largest holding company, and Co-CEO of Clal Industries and Investments, one of IDB's two principal subsidiaries, focusing on the hi-tech, bio-tech, real estate and trade sectors. Mr. Fischer is also the co-founder and co-chairman of Ganden Tourism and Aviation Ltd., Israel's second largest tourism and aviation group, and is the co-founder and Vice-Chairman of Ganden Holdings Ltd., a holding company that holds a controlling interest in IDB Holdings.

Mr. Fischer is a member of the Board of Directors in many publicly held companies, including IDBH Ltd. (TASE), Vyyo Inc. (NASDAQ), DIC Ltd. (TASE), CLL (TASE), Scitex Corporation Ltd. (NASDAQ & TASE), Elbit Systems Ltd. ((NASDAQ & TASE), and Natour (TASE), as well as in privately held companies. In addition, Mr. Fischer is involved in charitable activities and is one of the founders and Co-Chairman of Matan, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting programs that improve the conditions and prospects of people in need. Matan is the largest Israeli organization of its kind.

Mr. Fischer earned his law degree from Tel Aviv University, where he later served as a lecturer for seven years. Mr. Fischer is a Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) in the Israel Defense Forces.
