Ms. Shlomit Hess is a partner in the firm's Corporate and Hi-Tech practices, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate finance, and general corporate matters.

Ms. Hess represents private equity and venture capital funds, public and private corporations, and financial institutions in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, financing and joint ventures. She also provides ongoing legal counsel to technology companies on strategic transactions and day-to-day business matters.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Hess served as Vice President and General Counsel for global publicly traded companies and as a partner at leading law firms. She clerked for the Supreme Court of Israel and graduated second in her class of 214 students at Bar-Ilan University, where she served on the editorial board of the Law Review.

Recent deals  handled by Ms. Hess include representing Edwards LifeSciences (NYSE/NASDAQ: EW) in its  US$ 497 million  acquisition of Vectorious Medical Technologies  (for press coverage, see here), and representing the SKY Fund in its NIS 450 million acquisition of a 70% controlling stake in A.L. Electronics (for press coverage, see here).
