This Planning & Zoning legal update includes summaries of important recent court and tribunal decisions.
First, we are pleased to inform you that the plan for quarter 4 in Tel Aviv became effective after its recent publication. Undoubtedly the plan raises many questions mainly around the issue of betterment levies that will result from it. We note that the plan will result in the authorization of many building permits which were awaiting approval.
We also would like to inform you that recently, a memorandum of a proposed law with a number of amendments to the Planning and Building Law was circulated, which deals with many significant matters which could have far-reaching effects on the current legislation.
