Adv. Eyal Ofer is a senior associate in our firm’s Environmental and Sustainability practice. Adv. Ofer has extensive expertise in environmental, climate, and safety law, with over two decades of experience in various environmental fields, including climate risks, environmental nuisances, soil, water, and air pollution, and the intersection between economy and climate, among others.
Within this framework, he provides comprehensive legal counsel and advice to the practice's clients, including leading corporations, infrastructure, industry and energy companies, banking institutions, and publicly traded companies on a wide range of issues. These include environmental due diligence, compliance checks, environmental risk management, representation during hearings, and more.
In addition to his professional practice, Adv. Ofer lectures in various forums on environmental and sustainability topics. He has served as a lecturer in environmental policy at Ben-Gurion University and as a lecturer and legal advisor for ECOHUB within the Faculty of Law at the Academic Center for Law and Business.
Furthermore, Adv. Ofer lectures in annual courses, approved by the Ministry of Labor, for the training of safety officers and work managers in the construction and industrial sectors. He is also certified as a hazardous materials officer, a senior environmental quality officer, and a graduate of a corporate responsibility training course.
