Associate

Ms. Piker is an associate in our Municipal Tax practice. She specializes in a wide range of administrative and civil aspects in the field, including property tax (arnona), fees, and development levies.

In this capacity,  Ms. Piker provides the department's clients with comprehensive legal guidance and advice on issues related to reducing development levy assessments and securing refunds for developers for development levies paid to local authorities through civil claims; reducing municipal property tax assessments for businesses and land-intensive properties through filing objections and appeals, administrative petitions, and appeals; representing taxpayers before various tribunals, including appeal committees and administrative courts; verifying and assessing risks of assessments issued by local authorities and water and sewage corporations; and evaluating refund potential.

The department's clients include real estate companies, high-tech and software companies, shopping malls, banks, insurance companies, industrial plants and manufacturing companies, infrastructure companies, contractors (new construction), gas stations, hotels, nursing homes, and more.
