Adv. Sheffer provides comprehensive legal counseling in the field of commercial litigation, including ongoing representation and counsel to international and local airlines in class actions, handling passenger claims and complaints against airlines, and advising multinational corporations in commercial disputes relating to the international carriage of cargo via marine and air transport.

In addition, Adv. Sheffer’s practice focuses on carbon offsetting in aviation, with particular emphasis on CORSIA (the ICAO Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation). Adv. Sheffer advises airlines, aircraft operators and other aviation stakeholders on CORSIA applicability, MRV and compliance strategy, allocation of responsibility in leasing and operational structures, and regulatory risk management. Adv. Sheffer also drafts and negotiates emissions trading documentation, including agreements for the purchase and cancellation of CORSIA-eligible emissions units with approved suppliers, and has supported the execution of multiple transactions involving the sale and delivery of millions of carbon credits for Phase-1 compliance.
