Operation ‘Roaring Lion’ Essential Sectors – including the High-Tech Sector

Following the commencement of operation Roaring Lion, we would like to continue updating you on the relevant labor and regulatory developments as follows:
In our recent updates, we referenced the Ministry of Economy and Industry guidelines issued during operation `Rising Lion` dated June 15, 2025, which determined that organizations defined as “essential sectors” may continue operations even if they do not hold a permit as an Essential Service and without requiring submission of an application to continue operations.
Following the publication of the abovementioned guidelines, in June 2025 the National Emergency Authority, in conjunction with Government Ministries, published a Clarification document defining the term “Essential Sector” for the purposes of Operation Rising Lion to include additional sectors that were not mentioned in previous documents. Lately, the Clarification Document was updated in light of the Roaring Lion operation, and it includes additional sectors that were not mentioned in the Clarification Document.
