We hereby inform you that on Monday September 11th, 2023 the Labor Minister signed an extension order increasing the Recuperation pay allowance for employees employed in the private sector (henceforth: the “Extension Order”). In accordance with the Extension Order, the revised rate for recuperation pay is NIS 418 per day (instead of the previous rate of NIS 378).
Please note, that the revised rate will apply retroactively, as of July 1st 2023, such that employees employed in the private sector are entitled to differentials based on the revised recuperation pay rate, taking into account their seniority within the workplace.
