On September 12, 2018, the European Parliament adopted significant amendments to the Draft Directive on copyright in the Digital Single Market which were first published on September 2016. Below we review several important subjects, such as platform content filtering duties and legislative compensation for use of press publication, which are included in the current draft that will now proceed to the final legislative stages.
