We are pleased to present you with another edition of our Urban Renewal legal update which includes summaries of recent important court and tribunal decisions.
In this update we review:
– Amendment No. 6 to the Evacuation and Construction Law (Compensation), 5778-2018, in which the relations between developers and apartment owners are regulated in evacuation and construction transactions and in National Outline Plan 38 projects.
– A request to liquidate a company due to its economic inability to complete a project.
– Whether deviations of a building in relation to its surroundings will be assessed according to the existing building situation or in accordance with the potential building pursuant to the approved plans.
– Application of the “demolition and reconstruction” track to a protected structure or to a building with architectural or historical value.
