המחלקה מלווה את לקוחותיה הן בפן המסחרי והן בייצוג בבתי המשפט, מה שמקנה למחלקה את היכולת להשקיף על הסוגיות המובאות לפתחה מכל היבטיהן, ולהנחות את הלקוחות מבחינה אסטרטגית כיצד להימנע ממחלוקות, ולהתמודד עם פתרונן - אם וכאשר הן מתגלעות.
